It is part of the National Development Plan 2022-2026.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t \t\t The implementation of the national strategy for the development of the digital economy includes:<\/p>\n \u2013 \u201cCongo vision Digital 2025\u201d with its pillars <\/p>\n e-government, e-citizen and e-business; <\/p>\n \u2013 existing basic critical infrastructures, such as the National Telecommunications Coverage Project;<\/p>\n \u2013 the sub-regional fiber optic connection through the Central African Backone Congo-Gabon, Congo-Cameroon and Congo-Central African Republic project;<\/p>\n \u2013 the Access Fund for the Universal Electronic Communications Service, the operationalization of which in two years of operation has enabled the connection of more than 150 localities, or nearly 200,000 inhabitants and 18 university and school establishments; <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t \t\t \u2013 The African Center for Research in Artificial Intelligence, with the support of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, hosted at Denis Sassou Nguesso University, whose training courses for trainers in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity were organized with the help of the Smart Africa Alliance;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u2013 Bodies monitoring, surveillance or promoting the digital economy such as the Postal and Electronic Communications Regulatory Agency, the National Information Systems Security Agency and the Digital Economy Development Agency.<\/p>\n In its latest report, the World Bank recommends measures to improve market entry for new private sector players and ensure a level playing field for private and public operators. It recommends promoting pro-competitive regulation in key sectors such as telecommunications, which are essential for the efficient operation of other industries and crucial for the digital economy, the development of which is considered a priority by Congo in light of its economic diversification objectives.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
